Can I edit existing PDF text in place?

This tool adds overlays on top of the page. It does not rewrite the original PDF sentences. Place a text box or use Cover over the old words.

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Editing runs locally in your browser. The file is not uploaded to UseBoldTools for processing.

Does Cover permanently redact the PDF?

No. Cover draws an opaque rectangle. Hidden words may still be in the file if someone copies or inspects it. True redaction is a later feature.

Can I add a signature to a PDF?

Yes. Draw a signature, type your name, or upload a PNG or JPEG, then place it on the page and export.

Will the downloaded PDF have a UseBold watermark?

No. This tool does not add a UseBoldTools watermark.
